The Jacobi Medical Center is the largest public hospital in the Bronx with over 500 beds, and offers acute, specialty, general care and psychiatric services.

A.G. Consulting, as a sub-consultant, provided plumbing, fire protection design for the relocation of the 7th floor new Neonatal ICU Unit. This project involved the design of systems for the lobby, waiting area, patient rooms, operating rooms, nurseries, isolation rooms, recovery rooms, doctor’s offices, nurses call station, toilet facilities and medical/supply rooms. This project included upgrade/replacing of vacuum system, medical air system, medical gas, hot water and cold water system, air compression system, air intake, pneumatic tube station, replaced automatic temperature controls with state of the art units, upgraded medical air compressors on 13th floor, sprinkler booster/fir pump, sprinkler system and plumbing system.
