Consulting provided the facilities assessment
for Governor's Island. Working with Turner
Construction, the intent of the assessment
was to provide a thorough, comprehensive and
quantitative summary of 50 historic facilities
and 6 non-historic buildings encompassing
approximately 1.6 million square feet on Governors
Island, a National Historic Park and Monument.
The
scope of work for each building included identifying
and documenting all current facility condition
deficiencies and life-safety issues including
MEP systems. Recommendations were made for
immediate, short-term and long term repairs.
AG developed detailed cost estimates, prepared
extensive digital photo-documentation and
deficiency prioritization.
This
work included residential apartments (single
& multi-family structures), administrative
facilities, medical facilities, police station,
fire station, schools and other support facilities. |
