Amit S Guleria, PE, LEED AP
Amit joined AGCE in 2010 and became Senior Project Manager in electrical engineering department. With more than ten years of design and management experience in a wide variety of project types for clients including but not limited to NYCT, LIRR, METRONORTH, TBTA, MTA, BUS, NYCSCA, NYCHA, PA NY/NJ. He is actively involved in educational facilities, train stations, airports projects.
After interning in summer of 2005, Amit returned to work full time in Parsons Brinckerhoff’s New York office after graduating from University of Penn State in Pennsylvania. During his first few years Amit developed his expertise with Infrastructure Projects working in Tunnel/Ventilation Group and Hudson Mews Overbuild Project. At Cosentini Associates he worked in Private Sector and got involved in the Mission Critical Facilities Group. As Electrical Engineer, he performed design for the expansion of 20,000sf raised “build-out” of Tier IV design at capacity at 60 watt/sf as well as performed short-circuit study and coordinated the study. He specializes in the design of electrical power distribution system, lighting, fire alarm security systems including CCTV, card access system, communications, public address system, and LAN/WAN system.
Amit received Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland and California State and LEED Accredited Professional. He is member of IEEE, ACEC, SIAEA.
Off the clock, Amit is avid sports fan, he enjoys playing football and basketball. He loves the adventure and is passionate about travel with his family to new places.
