Steve is the Head of the Communications and Security Department at AG Consulting. In his over 25 years of professional experience, he has mastered a wide variety of design tasks related to electrical and communications systems including the design of power distribution, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, fire alarm, structured wiring systems, data networks, and state-of-the-art security technologies. In addition, he has served senior project management roles on nameplate large-scale transit projects for clients such as New York City Transit, Long Island Railroad, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and others. Steve has further performed extensive design work outside the transit sector, having held senior design roles on similarly large projects in the government administration and education verticals, where heightened security considerations are fundamental to the overall design objective. Steve is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Maryland, Florida, and Virginia. He earned his bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Stony Brook University, and his MBA (concentration finance and accounting) from the University of Texas at Austin.
