The Hunter’s Point South Infrastructure and Waterfront Park project is one of the most visible recent projects in New York City. The objective was to convert a 30-acre parcel of waterfront property from an unsightly and neglected industrial area, into a highly desirable multi-purpose development zone. The result features a waterfront park complete with a 300ft curved cantilever pedestrian bridge, extension of roadways and bicycle paths, sanitary sewers, water mains, and street lighting.
